Who we are

Tenant4Rent is an apartment management service for owners, building admins and residents. This policy covers the website at tenant4rent.com, the signed-in website at app.tenant4rent.com, and the Tenant4Rent apps for iPhone and Android.

Information we collect

We collect only what the service needs to run a building:

• Account details: name, mobile number, role, and a password stored only as a hash.
• Property details: buildings, floors, flats, residents, rental agreements, notices and expenses entered by owners or admins.
• Bills and payments: amounts due, due dates, payment records, and, when you pay online, the status returned by the payment provider.
• Complaints: the description you write and photos you choose to attach.
• Profile and building photos you upload.
• A push-notification token for the phone, if you allow notifications.
• A sign-in session cookie on the website, and an activity record of account changes.

Photos are re-saved without hidden data such as GPS location when the server can do so. We do not ask for your contacts, microphone, or precise location.

How we use it

• To sign you in and show the buildings, bills, agreements, notices and complaints that belong to your role.
• To record rent and maintenance payments and to send payment reminders and notices.
• To let admins handle complaints and keep a history of changes.
• To send push notifications you have allowed, such as bills, notices and complaint updates.
• To protect the service, including limiting repeated failed sign-in attempts.

Who can see it

Owners and building admins can see the residents, bills, agreements, complaints and expenses for the buildings they manage. Residents can see their own bills, agreements, notices and complaints. We do not sell personal information.

We share information with service providers only so the product can work:

• The payment provider (such as Razorpay), when a resident chooses to pay online. Their own privacy policy applies to the card, UPI or bank details you enter on their page. We receive the payment result, not your full card number.
• The push-notification service used by the mobile apps, which receives the device token needed to deliver a notification.
• The hosting provider that stores the database and uploaded photos.

Cookies

The signed-in website uses one session cookie so you stay signed in. It is not used for advertising. The mobile apps store the sign-in token on the device instead of a browser cookie.

How long we keep it

Account, billing, agreement and complaint records stay while the building uses Tenant4Rent, because they are the building’s ledger. When an owner or admin removes a person or a record, we delete or stop showing it according to that action. You can ask us to delete your account by emailing the address above. We may keep a record where we must do so for a payment dispute or for security.

Children

Tenant4Rent is for building owners, admins and residents. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Your choices

• You can refuse the camera, photo library and notification permissions. Those features then stay unavailable.
• You can sign out, including signing out of other devices from your profile.
• You can ask for a copy of your account information, or ask us to correct or delete it, at abdullasafhaa@gmail.com or on the delete your data page.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
